A wave of phony website traffics, attempts to infiltrate the website, hacking emails, threatening contacts with news sources (especially sources within the conservative movement and more independent MPs) and finally sending threatening emails from known addresses to the official email of mowjcamp and sending out false emails in the name of mowjcamp are among some of the tactics used to slow down our efforts to bring you fair and balanced coverage of events in Iran. A mass of made-up news and events are also being spread with the aim of deceiving civil rights activists and misleading independent journalists and subsequently discrediting them. However, mowjcamp is proud to say that none of these miserable attempts have been able to disrupt the continuous activities of our website. Staff at mowjcamp are optimistic that we will continue to respond to possible further attacks that are likely to intensify with reopening of academic institutions and the governments fear of any form of information flow.
