According to our sources, Mehrak Mirab Zadeh the wife of Mr Tabatabaei, Masoumeh Khosh Sowlatan the wife of former Tehran mayor Morteza Alviri and Faezeh Abtahi the daughter of Mohammad-Ali Abtahi were released shortly after being detained. Also among the newly arrested is Mohammadreza Jalaeipour, the Oxford PhD student who had already been released from Evin prison, after 88 days of prison, Zahra Mojarradi the wife of the imprisoned political activist, Mohsen Mirdamadi and Saeid Noor Mohammadi, a young mamber of the reformist party.

Mass arrests continue; family members of political prisoners among the detained
Just hours ago, a prayer service held for the release of Seyed Shahaboddin Tabatabaei and other political prisoners, was raided and more than a dozen people were arrested. Among the arrested were relatives of those already in prison.
