3 arrests as Iran braces itself for a showdown

Hasan Zeidabadi, the chairman of the organisation’s human rights committee and Mohammad Sadeghi a member of the central committee of the organisation were arrested around 7pm yesterday, when security forces raided their houses and interrogated them separately.

Also to be added to the long list of detainees is Seyed Kouhzad Esmaeili who is responsible for the Gilan branch of the organisation.

It should be noted that the chairman of the organisation Ahmad Zaidabadi and spokesperson Abdollah Momeni have been in jail for more than four months, but it is still not clear under what charges.
