Kazemi, an engineer was arrested in the days following the fraudulent presidential elections in June and was held in the notorious Evin Prison for more than five months under difficult conditions.
The 62 year-old Kazemi is a telecommunications expert and has been active in industry for more than 34 years.
One of the charges against Mr Kazemi was acting against national security even though he had no prior political activity in his past. It is believed that his imprisonment was only a way of exerting pressure on the Mousavi family in order to force him to give up on the rights of the Iranian people.
